With Christmas just around the corner, the team at Five Valleys are getting into the festive spirit and have reached out to Father Christmas to ask him to make a few last-minute stops at the centre before he starts his busy schedule.
Santa will be making his first visit this Saturday [December 17], from 11am to 3:30pm and then will be returning on December 19, 20 and 21 giving families plenty of opportunity to meet the big man in red.
Young visitors will be able to meet Santa in the centre’s Indoor Market area by making a donation, with all proceeds going to the Stroud Rotary Club to support local charities.
Throughout the weekend there will also be live jazz performances on Sunday to get shoppers into the festive spirit.
Parking charges will also be reduced on Friday evening to 50p and all-day parking offered for just £1 on Sunday.
Lottie Thompson, part of the centre’s management team, said: “We are delighted to be working with the team from the Stroud Rotary Club to bring Father Christmas to Five Valleys and to raise lots of money for local good causes.”
“We have lots of fun festivities going on this weekend, so it is the perfect time to come and grab those last-minute Christmas presents”
If you’re looking for a special treat this Christmas, Sandersons Boutique are currently hosting their biggest sale yet, with up to 50% off their biggest designer brands including Barbour, Holland Cooper, Ugg, Grand Sasso and Penny Black.
The centre’s food traders will also be open late until 8pm on Friday and from 11am until 3pm on Sunday cooking up some festive favourites for the whole family to enjoy.
Don’t forget to tie in a festive lunch or tea at the market if you’re booked to see Blockbuster release, Avatar: The Way of Water, at Vue.
