Homes left without electricity as huge power cut hits

Properties were left without power in Nailsworth as a huge power cut hit the region this morning, Sunday.

National Grid says 615 properties are impacted by the power outage and expect power to return by noon.

National Grid said: “We are aware of the power cut. The incident was raised at 10.25am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.”
