Kind-hearted villagers in Horsley are taking positive action to help raise funds for the people of Ukraine.

Moved by the plight of the Ukrainians, an online auction is currently live with tickets on offer to watch Forest Green or a night of entertainment at Giffords Circus.

“Like a lot of people around the world, we are trying to take some positive action around the war in Ukraine,” said villager Anna Herbert. “In my local village of Horsley and the town of Nailsworth, we’re hoping to raise money for the British Red Cross (DEC Ukraine Appeal) so that they can channel the funds wherever it’s needed.
