The third Stonehouse Walking Festival starts on Friday, with a
launch walk to the Woodchester Valley Wines vineyards.
Walkers will leave Stonehouse Town Green at 6 pm and return along the Stroud Water canal to the town.
The aim of the organising team is to celebrate a range of walks for all abilities
and covering all the areas of the beautiful countryside around the town.
From a family fun walk to a walk covering Selsley, Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons.
All the walks start and end in central Stonehouse. Free car parking is available
in the main town car park just off the High Street with toilets available in the
car park.
Some walks require booking, so please look on the website:
stonehousewalks.co.uk or you can phone 07742 513891 or email:

Brochures are available in the Stonehouse Town Council Office and various
shops around the town, including local pubs and shops in Stroud centre.
The final walk of the Festival takes place on Sunday, September 18th, leaving the Town Green at 6pm.
