Hot-shot Hawes pens Stonehouse deal

Highly-rated striker Will Hawes has put pen to paper on a deal with ambitious Hellenic League Division One West outfit Stonehouse Town.

Hawes joins the Magpies following a successful career in grassroots football with the likes of Shortwood United and Slimbridge, who he starred for in the Southern League.

Stonehouse boss Adam Coyle expressed his delight at getting the Hawes deal done, he told Stroud Times: “Will (Hawes) is a proven goalscorer, a nightmare for defenders and adds another dimension to our attacking players.”
