Hundreds of tractors – old and new – rolled through Wotton-under-Edge this evening, spreading festive cheer and raising money for two charities.

The annual Horton Tractor Run’s Christmas event took place this evening and was headed by the Original Santa Float.

Dozens of people lined Long Street and High Street to watch the decorated tractors and classic vehicles in the procession.

The convoy set off from Horton Social Club in South Gloucestershire and headed to Hawkesbury Upton, Hillesley, Wotton-under-Edge, Kingswood, Charfield and Wickwar before heading back across Sodbury Common to return to Horton Social Club. Money raised will be donated to St Peter’s Hospice and the Time is Precious charities.
