A GoFundMe campaign by Stroud resident Gillian Holmes to support the Nailsworth Donkey Sanctuary, which cares for 11 donkeys and three sheep rescued from difficult conditions.
Tim and Dawn Cockell, who have dedicated years to nursing these animals back to health, now face challenges managing the care due to the strain on their own health.
The funds raised will help cover essential costs such as food, veterinary care, and maintaining the sanctuary’s paddocks and stables. This vital support will ensure these animals continue to thrive in a safe and loving environment.
So far, £635 has been raised out of a £1,000 target.
