Forest Green maintained their flying start to the new National League season with a 4-0 victory at Boston.
Steve Cotterill’s side raced into a third minute lead as Christian Doidge finished with aplomb from a Kyle McAllister slide-rule pass.

An audacious lob from the halfway line saw Liam Sercombe make it 2-0 on 18 minutes. The goal avalanche continued – Sercombe grabbing his second from Doidge ball. Doidge banked his second as he rose to head in Jamie Robson’s 56th minute goal.
With a minute left on the clock, Boston were awarded a penalty. Substitute Jacob Hazel saw his strike down the middle blocked by Rovers’ Jed Ward.
