Gloucestershire Northern Senior League One: Charfield 1 Dursley Town 1

Dursley Town boss Karl Nash felt his side struggled to blow away the cobwebs of inactivity as they salvaged a point at Charfield.

Dursley captain Aaron Nash netted parity on the hour – converting after Ben Dolbear had been upended.

Earlier, Charfield took the lead inside 10 minutes before Dursley rallied to force a point.

“It was a typical post-Christmas performance,” admitted Nash. “We started quite brightly and conjured a couple of half-chances.

“Charfield caught us out with a long ball, and after our equaliser we rallied and tried to grab the winner, but it wasn’t to be.”

Dursley are just a point off leaders Longlevens’ Reserves with two games in hand over the table-toppers.
