Charlie McCann’s second-half strike earned National League promotion- hopefuls Forest Green a share of the spoils a point in a 1-1 home draw against Aldershot.
Midfielder McCann struck early in the second period after Ryan Jones’ strike had given the Shots the lead.

Forest Green conjured several first-half chances, with Aldershot goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst showing great hands to deny Harry Cardwell’s shot and McCann’s follow-up effort.
Aldershot took the lead shortly before half-time when Jones’ strike beat Jed Ward, but McCann levelled it up soon after the break following Tom Knowles’ sumptuous cross.
Rovers remain third in the table going into the Christmas period.
