Kingswood 1 Horsley United 1

Kingswood boss Ben Foxwell insisted a draw was a fair result as his side posted only their fifth point of a testing season at home to Horsley United on Wednesday evening.

Without a win, and sitting at the foot of the table, Kingswood (white strip) fell a goal behind after the break through a defensive mistake, but netted parity with a neat finish from Jordan Hickman from John Cooper’s assist.

“A point was a fair result,” admitted Foxwell. “We fought back well after going a goal behind and the last 10 minutes were end-to-end. Horsley came close a couple of times, but couldn’t find the net.”
