Red Kite Solicitors hosted their latest WorkStory event at The Old Lodge, with Stroud District Council CE0 Kathy O’Leary.
Kathy addressed the business breakfast audience, where she shared important topics about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how females are treated in the workplace.
Alice Chubb from Red Kite Solicitors said: “WorkStory networking had the privilege of hearing from Kathy.
“It was lovely to have such an engaging conversation with the attendees and hear different viewpoints. We received very positive feedback from the event.
“WorkStory is about ditching the sales pitches and bringing personal stories and motivations to the forefront of networking.”
The next event takes place at Ingleside House, Cirencester on Monday, February 19th with Sir Robert Buckland MP, who will be speaking on autism in employment and how to close the employment gap.
Alice added: “Sir Robert has an autistic daughter which is why he feels so passionate about closing the employment gap for individuals with a disability. They are not a burden or require extra work, they just require an employer who can think outside the box and provide support in a different way.
“The team are also very proud to be donating £2.50 of the proceeds of every ticket sold to Allsorts, which is a local charity which does so much for families who are caring for an individual with a disability as well as the person who has the disability. Please do come along and support us in supporting Allsorts. We will also have donation buckets at our event and would be grateful for any donation you can make.”
