Stroud Pride took place once again in Bank Gardens today, Saturday, an event that was first held in 2018 with a summer picnic to bring members of the LGBTQ+ community together.
Stroud Red Band began an afternoon of music, with MC Miss Lucy Luscious Lips introducing the acts.

Craig Johnson, chair of Stroud Pride, said: “We are very blessed with the weather today, it’s not raining and not too hot.
“We’ve got a lot more stalls this year – the entertainment is jam-packed and we’ve got an after party at the Sub Rooms, with bands and drag queens there.
“The event’s lovely – it just shows how much everyone supports our community and how wonderful Stroud is – the town is very supportive and it’s a wonderful place to be.”
