Forest Green boss David Horseman admitted it felt like a defeat after his side relinquished a 2-0 lead against fellow strugglers Grimsby Town.
Horseman said some of the football his side played was outstanding and handed him a sense of pride and insisted his side will be fine despite sitting in the relegation zone.
A brace from Donovan Wilson cancelled out Kyle McAllister’s first-half double.
McAllister opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 37th minute after Callum Jones was tripped in the area.

McAllister doubled Forest Green’s lead just before the break when he dinked the ball over keeper Harvey Cartwright.
Grimsby got back into the game when Wilson pushed Gavan Holohan’s strike into the net.
Wilson then pounced on Reece Welch’s heavy touch and poked past keeper James Belshaw.
Rovers almost pinched it but Tyrese Omotoye’s header came back off the upright.
