Youngsters at Uplands Playgroup in Stroud will be cheering on the national squad in the finals of the Euro 2020 contest this evening.

Members of the community donated England flags and bunting, and children had their faces painted ready for the big match against Italy.

“We watched highlights of the match against Denmark and the kids loved it,” said Play Leader Debbi Scobell.

“We’ve been talking about Italy and the other teams involved – it’s really taken off – the children are all very excited.”
