Shortwood retained the John Hannis Memorial Trophy with a comprehensive victory over Taverners.
Jacob Nowell opened the scoring for the Nailsworth side on 12 minutes when the impressive Kieran Marks, back at Shortwood for a second spell, combined with Luke Soule for Nowell to pounce.
Marks again was the instigator in Wood’s second after 19 minutes when he was fouled in the area and Chris Earle confidently struck the penalty home.
Wood had several chances to add to their tally before Orgest Pepa curled a delightful 20-yard strike home just before the break.
Wood scored their fourth with 10 minutes to go when Soule rose high to head home an Earle corner.
Meanwhile, the Reserves beat Melksham Reserves 3-1 with goals from Louis Peyton, Tom King and Dan Wright.
