The Cotswold Canals Trust is hosting a guided walk on Saturday, June 26.
The two-hour walk will start at 10am from Stonehouse Court Hotel.
Spokeswoman Lisa Mant said: “We will walk along the canal to Ryeford Lock and back. During the walk we will take you through the history of the canal and its restoration that started in the 1970s. You will hear of the huge efforts that are taking place during the next stage of the restoration Phase 1B Stonehouse to Saul Junction that has recently commenced.
“Join us after the walk in the gardens of Stonehouse Court Hotel where we can provide you further information such as membership and volunteering or maybe book a canal boat trip to experience the canal corridor from the water.”
Walking time is 1 ½ hours along the towpath. Cost is £5 per person. Parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis in the hotel car park, with additional parking on Church Lane.
