Stroud Farmers’ Market is set to launch a monthly vegan food market.
Spearheaded by market manager Kardien Gerbrands, the new event at the popular Cornhill Market will kick-off in the new year.
“The vegan markets will start on Sunday, January 27th and will run from 10am – 3pm on every last Sunday of the month, Kardien said. “They will be open to any type of food or crafts businesses that adhere to vegan principles. “For further information or to book a stall please email markets@fresh-n-local.co.uk.”
Meanwhile, the traditional Christmas markets at the Cornhill Square in the last week before Christmas, return from Wednesday, December 20th to Friday, December 22nd, running up to the final farmers’ market of the year on December 23rd. Some stalls are still available for these popular events, although not the Saturday.
Stroud Farmers’ Market are also running three Saturday indoor markets at the Baptist Hall on Union Street for Stroud-based arts and crafts makers.
Kardien added: “These markets are specifically aimed at Stroud’s huge number of artists and makers. Dates are December 9th, 16th and 23rd and will be strictly limited to 12 stalls within the main hall and will only be open to Stroud- based artists and crafts people.”
