Japanese and Korean street food vendor, Kyuri Sushi, have extended their lease at the Five Valleys Indoor Market, after being there for just over two years.
Kyuri Sushi is a firm favourite at the market, selling a wide range of traditional Japanese and Korean street food six days a week including late on a Friday for the night markets.
Bong Su Cha and his partner Bryony Harris pride themselves on having the best authentic food and recipes from Bong Su’s mother and Korean roots.
Foodies can treat themselves to some wonderful sushi including salmon nigiri, salmon and avocado rolls, yasai rolls, dragon rolls and even their crispy fried Chicken Katsu rolls for those looking for something a little less fishy.
Fish is the best food source for Omega-3 and Kyrui Sushi is filled with Omega-3 oil which is perfect for brain health, helping to fight anxiety and depression leading to you feeling both happier and healthier. It also has many other health benefits such as lowering blood pressure and reducing heart problems.
It is believed in Korean culture that food and medicine are grown from the same root therefore there is no better medicine than food!
Not only will his sushi tantalize your taste buds, but also Bong Su’s Japanese curries, Korean sweet and spicy chicken, succulent teriyaki chicken and ridiculously tasty gyoza will leave your mouth watering.
Bong Su said: “My passion for high quality, freshly made authentic food has led to a successful, thriving business and I am really looking forward to the future with Kyuri Sushi and continuing to serve the people of Stroud.”
The team at Kyuri Sushi are also committed to providing recyclable and compostable takeaway packaging keeping not only the body healthy, but also the planet.
Jessica Derham, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “Kyuri Sushi is a fabulous addition to our market and its unique menu has been extremely popular with our customers. The extension of their lease has been great news and I continue to wish them the best of luck!”
