There’s no better time to play Lucky Severn Community Lottery than this festive season, as players could win a £3,000 cash bonus, as well as a £25,000 jackpot.

Every ticket bought before Saturday 21 December will have a chance of winning the extra £3,000 prize, as well as the usual jackpot and other weekly prizes, all for just £1 a week.

The Lucky Severn Lottery has raised thousands of pounds for more than 90 good causes in the Stroud district, such as Allsorts GloucestershireThe Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home and GL11 Community Hub

50p of each £1 ticket is paid directly to the cause a player chooses to support with an additional 10p going to other good causes in the Stroud district. There are currently more than 672 weekly players and their tickets have raised £38,220 annually for local causes.

Cllr Beki Aldam, Chair of SDC’s Community Services & Licensing Committee said: “The lottery supports the aims of our Council Plan to strengthen communities and build resilience through community-led networks. Buying a weekly ticket to the Lucky Severn Community Lottery can make a positive impact to local causes in our district.”

Cllr Catherine Braun, Stroud District Council Leader said: “It’s brilliant that the Lucky Severn Lottery has already raised so much money for good causes in the district. It’s not only helping not-for-profit organisations but also gives people a chance of winning great prizes, like this £3,000 Christmas cash bonus.”

With the Super Draw, you can also buy extra tickets to “top-up” for Super Draw week – or if you don’t want weekly tickets, you can buy tickets just for the Super Draw.

If you represent a community group, you can apply to join Lucky Severn at any time. It’s free to register and participants receive personalised marketing materials and support, a page on the Lucky Severn Community Lottery website, and 50p of every £1 your supporters spend.

Players can choose which good cause they would like their money to go towards. To buy tickets go to www.luckysevernlottery.co.uk.
