Sonar Sessions returns to Stroud’s Goods Shed, teaming up with Jazz Stroud for an eagerly awaited night of electronic music.
Featuring an immersive “In The Round” set up with d&b Audio Technik’s industry-leading sound system, this event invites audiences to experience the music up close, surrounded by deep beats and intricate soundscapes.
Headlining the night is Echo Juliet, whose percussion-led electronica draws on deep house, broken beat, and classical influences. Her debut EP, Abandon Reality, has gained support from BBC 6Music and NTS tastemakers like Tom Ravenscroft, Steve Lamacq, Cerys Matthews, and Gideon Coe. In 2024, Echo Juliet also released a remix by Gold Panda, along with support from Help Musicians and DJ Mag’s new Electronic Award, solidifying her presence in the electronic music scene.
Joining her is Stroud-based techno and electronica producer Sam Judd, whose globally influenced sound has attracted a dedicated following. Fresh off the release of his debut EP, Temple Music, Judd’s set will bring an experimental depth to the night. Kicking off the evening is Stroud-based DJ and producer Neon Pumps, who brings vibrant energy and bass-heavy beats to her sets. With debut releases like Cat Nav and her recent Catch Fire EP, Neon Pumps promises a bouncy and memorable start to the night. DJ support will be provided by Robbie Duncan, who will keep the energy flowing.
Doors open at 8pm on Saturday, November 23. Tickets are £10 available from Stroud Valley Artspace at www.sva.org.uk/events/sonarsessions
