Gloucestershire’s very own Giffords Circus, renowned as the UK’s most glamorous circus, is celebrating its 25th anniversary year with a spectacular new show, Laguna Bay, with Easter holiday availability at Fennells Farm, Stroud from 17th – 27th April, before touring the Cotswolds and south England until 28th September 2025.
Over the past 25 years, Giffords Circus has entertained over one million people with its unique, creative and dazzling shows, performed under the canvas of its iconic 600 seat big top tent, and has become something of a Cotswold institution, beloved by many families across Gloucestershire and beyond. Giffords Circus expertly challenges the preconceptions of a traditional, old-fashioned circus, while retaining the charm, glamour, nostalgia and magic of a family-friendly, vintage village green circus.
Laguna Bay, Giffords Circus brand new show, will transform you from the picturesque surroundings of the Gloucestershire countryside to the buoyant and sunny era of 1950s America. From the moment you glimpse the iconic burgundy wagons, see the sun glistening off the big top tent and smell the sweet scent of candyfloss on the air, the anticipation and excitement will continue to build. Expect dazzling handmade costumes, brightly coloured hand-painted sets, catchy songs and truly awe-inspiring performances from hugely talented acrobats, magicians, clowns (including Gloucestershire’s favourite, Tweedy the Clown!), aerial artists and entertainers, who together will create a magical, unique and unforgettable performance worthy of the West End.
Laguna Bay will launch on 17th April 2025 to a sold-out big top tent at the home of Giffords Circus, Fennells Farm in Stroud. Following its opening run over the Easter bank holiday weekend and throughout April, Giffords Circus will then continue to tour some of the most picturesque sites across the Cotswolds and south England, including:
