Leisure centre to close temporarily

The Pulse in Dursley will be closing on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 May for the final phase of the renewable heating installation.

An email to customers said: “As you have been aware, most of the work at the centre has taken place behind the scenes but there has been some disruption throughout the installation for which we thank you for your patience. Unfortunately, the final phase will cause considerable disruption to public areas with the loss of mains power, therefore cannot take place while the buildings are open to the public.

“Stratford Park Leisure Centre will be open during our closure. However, please note that Pulse memberships are not valid at the centre so you will need to pay to use the facility.

•    Online and app bookings will still be available as the power outage will not affect our booking system.
•    A frontline team will be working from SDC’s Ebley Mill office on both days, so our telephone service is available.
•    There will be no access to the centre at any time during the closure.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and welcome you back to the centre on Saturday 18 May.”
