Letter to the Editor: pub was right to host Katie Hopkins

Dear Editor,

My grandfather used to say “empty vessels make the most noise” and this is spot on when it comes to the recent controversial visit of Katie Hopkins.

The usual suspects were out in force to protest when Ms Hopkins appeared at The Star Inn, Whiteshill last week. This minority group never seem to look for the good in anyone or anything and are often critical, rude and judgemental.

The landlord of The Star Inn had every right to stage Hopkins’ show at his pub and the outrage is totally unjust. I for one, applaud the courage of his convictions.
