Dear Editor,
I’m delighted to reveal Stroud District Council have pledged £10,000 to support the Stroud Waters Project.
Their generous £10,000 pledge will help fund a feasibility study to create a safe, natural swimming space at Court Farm in King’s Stanley. This highlights the council’s support towards this innovative project.
A massive thankyou for the 226 pledges the project has had since the campaign launched a few weeks ago.
Once completed, the Stroud Waters Project will offer the community an outdoor swimming space, surrounded by nature, to maintain and improve physical and mental health, encourage community connections and nurture biodiversity.
To bring the Stroud Waters Project further to life, we are inviting businesses and organisations to partner with us. By pledging funds or resources, you can become a part of this exciting project, making a tangible impact to the future of community well-being, and aligning your brand with an initiative that will put Stroud on the map, in terms of progressive resources for public health.
Please keep on pledging, every backer and penny counts towards the target.
