Letter to the Editor: your chance to send a message of hope

MOST READ

Dear Editor,

On Wednesday, December 14th the local Mid Glos Amnesty Group will be holding its Annual Write for Rights Evening at Star Anise Café in Gloucester Street.

It takes only a few minutes to write a card or send an e-mail but these simple messages of hope have a real impact on the lives of Prisoners of Conscience around the world

Cards and emails also put pressure on the authorities to take action to free Prisoners of Conscience, protect the vulnerable and bring perpetrators  of human rights abuses to justice

Warm mince pies and hot drinks will be for sale and pens and cards will be provided.

All are welcome from 7 pm.

Norah Kennedy
