The BBC’s Bargain Hunt is filming a brand-new episode at Wotton Auction Rooms today, with the programme’s famous blue and red teams bringing plenty of excitement to the Gloucestershire auction house.
Experts Eric Knowles, John Cameron and Irita Marriott are at the sale as part of the July Antique & Interiors Sale, with visitors able to watch the action unfold and catch a glimpse of some familiar television faces.

The teams are putting their antique finds to the test before they go under the hammer, with the usual mix of friendly rivalry, anticipation and dramatic moments expected throughout the day.
The two-day sale got underway at 9.30am today (Tuesday, July 21) and continues tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22), featuring more than 1,500 lots ranging from affordable collectables to high-value antiques.
Auctioneer Joseph Trinder said: “We’re delighted to welcome the blue and red teams and experts to the saleroom here as the BBC’s Bargain Hunt joins us for our July Antique & Interiors Sale.
“It’s bound to be a huge amount of fun and no doubt there will be dramatic moments ahead as each team’s purchases sell under the hammer with us.”

The filming is drawing plenty of interest from Bargain Hunt fans, who are gathering to watch the experts and contestants in action. Four episodes filmed in Wotton will air on BBC1 later this year.
