Inspired by taking pictures of lizards, author Alan Harnden has just published his first picture book for children.
The book is based on Andreas the lizard and the environment he lives and
shares with many different species.
Alan said: “I wanted to write a picture book based on lizards which could be fun and also educational for children to read. I have always had a camera in hand and taking photographs of one sort or another.
“Sneaking around a garden in Cyprus, taking photos of lizards for ten years led me to the wonderful thought that I could create a fun yet educational picture book originally to read to my granddaughters. How wonderful would it be if other children enjoy the stories of Andreas.”
