M5 closure following collision

Police have closed this M5 northbound between junctions 10 and 9 following a collision this morning, Tuesday.

Police were called at around 9.50am with a report of a collision involving a motorcyclist near to junction 9.

The motorcyclist is currently been assessed by paramedics after sustaining suspected serious injuries.

Emergency services remain at the scene and the closure is expected to remain in place for a number of hours with motorists asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
