Police are appealing for witnesses after a man has died in a serious collision near Mickleton earlier this morning (Saturday 5 September).
Emergency services were called to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Bakers Hill, between Mickleton and Hidcote, at around 7.30am.
A Ford C-Max had left the road and collided with a tree. The driver of the car, a 36-year-old man from the Stratford area, was declared dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Road closures remain in place on Bakers Hill while collision investigators examine the scene.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
