Man released on bail after incident in Stonehouse

Gloucestershire Police have confirmed a man has been released on bail following an incident in Stonehouse.

Police were called to High Street in Stonehouse at 3.55pm on Wednesday with a report a man had been assaulted.

The victim, aged in his 30s, sustained a wound to his head which required medical treatment at a minor injury unit. Officers attended and the suspect had left the scene.

A man was later arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
