Ingredients

2 medium potatoes washed and dried or frozen fries, 2 tbsp olive oil, 4 tbsp cornflour, 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp garam masala, ¼ tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp kosher salt.

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 205°C

If you are making homemade French fries

Cut your potatoes into long fries, approximately ½” thick, then place them in a mixing bowl and soak for a minimum of 10 minutes.

Drain your fries and pat them dry. Add them to a dry mixing bowl, add oil, cornflour, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, ground turmeric, garlic powder, lemon juice, and kosher salt, and toss until the fries are evenly coated. Lay the fries on a baking tray in a single layer.

Cook for approximately 40 minutes until the fries are crispy, remove from the oven, serve immediately and enjoy!

If using frozen French fries

You can cook your frozen French fries from frozen. Please see the manufactures instructions for cooking times

Then add olive oil, cornflour, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, ground turmeric, garlic powder, lemon juice, and kosher salt. Place your fries in a mixing bowl and toss them in all the ingredients

Lay the fries on a baking tray in a single layer. Place them in the oven and cook until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, approximately 40 minutes. When they are ready, they should be deliciously crispy fries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
