Three talented young athletes from Minchinhampton have done their town, club, and country proud by representing England at the Atlantic Youth Touch Rugby Cup in Limerick, Ireland—and returning with a collection of medals.
Eva Artingstall, Evie Drewitt, and Imogen Artingstall, all members of Minchinhampton RFC and are trained by head coach Adrian Danks.
The trio were selected to compete against teams from around the world, including South Africa, Scotland, Wales, and China.

Their achievements were outstanding:
- Eva Artingstall won gold with the England Girls’ U18 team
- Evie Drewitt secured gold in the Girls’ U15 category
- Imogen Artingstall took home bronze as part of the Mixed U15 squad
The Atlantic Youth Cup is a major international tournament, drawing elite young players from across the globe. For three athletes from the same Gloucestershire town to earn podium finishes is a remarkable testament to their talent, dedication, and the strength of the local rugby community.
“These girls have worked incredibly hard to reach this level,” said a spokesperson for Minchinhampton RFC. “Their passion and commitment to the sport are truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder.”
Their success not only highlights the growing prominence of Touch rugby in the UK, but also puts Minchinhampton firmly on the map as a hub of rising talent as the club boasts 8 juniors playing at regional level, who will be competing at at the Touch nationals at Nottingham next month
