MRG Systems, a leader in digital display systems, is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The Stonehouse employer commemorated the occasion with a gathering at the Stonehouse Court Hotel, where clients, partners, suppliers, and past and present employees reflected on the company’s history.
Founded in 1983, the company’s journey began with the creation of display systems using then cutting-edge teletext technology, which changed the financial sector by enabling faster data delivery for banks at the London Stock Exchange.
Since then, MRG Systems has grown into an employee-owned business that provides cutting-edge digital display solutions for a wide range of industries. MRG Systems’ latest product is the digital signage content management system LiveSpace.
“From local businesses to prestigious institutions like The Houses of Parliament, our screens can be found across the globe,” said Adrian Potter, Director at MRG Systems. “Our success is a testament to our team’s commitment to excellence and our continuous drive to push the boundaries of digital display technology.”

Founder Mike Grimwood who now lives in Australia, received special recognition for his visionary leadership that laid the foundation for MRG Systems’ achievements. His foresight and belief in the potential of technology have shaped the company into what it is today.
The anniversary celebration was not just a reflection on the past but a launchpad for the future.
“Reaching 40 years is a remarkable achievement for MRG Systems, and we owe our success to the collective efforts of our dedicated team,” commented Damien Kay, Director at MRG Systems. “Our journey has been marked by continuous innovation and we are excited about the next 40 years and the opportunities they hold for us!”
