Much-loved haberdashery In Stitches has opened for business in Stroud High Street, having relocated from its home of five years in Westward Road, Cainscross, on Tuesday.
The popular shop gained a reputation over many years for its wide selection of yarns and fabrics and the expert advice the team offers, and this will now be available on the high street.
Owner, Christina Hinder said: “I am so pleased to be on Stroud High Street, a place I have loved for so long and to be a part of the retailing community in this part of the high street is very exciting.
“Look out for the opening party date, we need to celebrate together. Now I need to start working on an Autumn Workshop Schedule and look forward to having lots of crafting fun with current and new customers and friends.”

In Stitches would also like to thank everyone who has worked hard to make this possible. A concerted effort was made to select local businesses and they would like to thank MBE Installations for the fabulous lighting, Stroud Carpets & Interiors for the amazing flooring, Eleanor Harper for the sign writing, Polished Studio Design & Build for the outside decoration, Warren Forbes for the inspired yarn shelving, Fred (a friend) for interior painting and most of all to the In Stitches team who work so hard behind the scenes to make everything joyous.
