The town of Nailsworth has been plunged into grief following the shock passing of popular shop owner Jane Luff.
Today, hundreds of friends and neighbours gathered in the town centre, to pay respect to their much-love friend. A huge daisy chain decorated her George Street shop, as Jane’s family gathered for a minute’s silence.
Fellow shop owners Caroline and Charlotte, said: “We’re completely devastated at losing our beautiful Jane. Having so many people coming into our shops to make these daisies and reminisce, has been so comforting.

“Jane is remembered by us all as a beautiful soul, who helped a great many people, with her love and care. She always had time for people and was a wise, funny, creative and loving lady who had a great eye for clothing, she did a huge amount of work for the town, most recently creator of the poppy displays. She married husband Nick in 2021 and was mother to Selina and Kelly, and nine grandchildren, Jane will be sadly missed and forever remembered.”
