Nailsworth man elected president

A Nailsworth businessman has been anointed president of the new Slimbridge Supporters Club.

Paddy Coyle who runs Nailsworth Computer Shop was elected by the Hellenic Premier Division outfit, who are co-managed by his son Adam.

Paddy said: “I’m honoured to be asked to take up the position and to help take the club forward in raising the profile and funds for it.”

The fans’ committee also include co-chair and treasurers Lewis Hall and Natalie Jennings. Natalie will also take the role of secretary. Dave Bees has been named as executive committee member.

The first contribution the supporters made to the football club was to confirm their player sponsorship of Theo Clayson.
