Nailsworth pub will reopen despite closure

A landmark pub in the heart of Nailsworth is to temporarily call last orders at the bar.

The popular Britannia Inn will close to rectify supply issues during a change of ownership.

A statement on the Britannia Inn Facebook page this evening, said: “We apologise for any issues you may have encountered during the last few months, as many of you are aware there have been delays and supply issues due to our attempt to keep open during a change of ownership.

“We have come to a conclusion it will better to close during the interim rather than continue to provide substandard service, therefore we sadly will be closed temporarily while we attempt to resolve things. Please check back for updates and we will be back with you new and improved as soon as we can.”
