Nailsworth Town FC is now in its third season in the Stroud & District League and is looking forward to another positive season after a tough pre-season programme, writes Martin Stone.

New boss Russ Beale has come in and with a combination of former Nailsworth players and a handful of new faces, the team now looks balanced and more purposeful from last season.

The aim, as with any club, is to gain promotion from division five and after early victories against Uley Reserves and Minety Reserves with plenty of goals and much quality football, Nailsworth sits comfortably at the top of the table.
