After a torrid start to the season, Brimscombe are on the up.

The Lilywhites posted their second win of the season as they surprised in-form Sporting Club Inkberrow 2-1 at the Meadow, who had previously lost twice this season.

Goals from new signing Harrison Archer and a sumptuous Callum Blackford strike handed Brimscombe a much-need victory.

Earlier, Brimscombe handed debuts to Archer, Finlay Skittrall, Tyrese Griffin, Matt Lee and welcomed back Nathan Marks and Chalmers Finn, who return to the club from Stonehouse and Wootton Bassett respectively.

Prior to the game, the Lilywhites revealed the appointment of assistant manager Tim Bond, who previously guided Malmesbury Victoria to Hellenic Premier promotion.

Brimscombe welcome Worcester Raiders to the Meadow this afternoon, 3pm and have strengthened their squad further this week by adding Daniel Hanson from Hartpury.
