Following a menu refresh it’s fast becoming a hot spot in Stroud for brunch and there’s one thing the Italians do right, it’s coffee and brunch.
The traditional Italian breakfast is small, sweet, and based on pastries and milky coffee and that’s just what shoppers can find at Terra which is owned and run by Italian couple Matteo and Clara.
Handmade pastries, cakes and delicious Lavazza coffee are on the menu with a top choice being the Cornetto Dolce, a sweet croissant served with Nutella, white chocolate cream, pistachio cream or jam. This is perfectly paired with a milky cappuccino or latte.
Bit sweet for first thing? Why not try it with smoked salmon, avocado and salad or prosciutto di parma and mozzarella cheese with a strong Macchiato.
For those wanting a healthier option, Terra also has granola served with a heap of creamy yoghurt and seasonal berries or toasted sourdough with smashed avocado, poached egg and smoked salmon. Frittata Italiana is also on the menu and can be enjoyed with a freshly squeezed orange juice – bellissimo.
Brunch is served all day, but for those wanting something a little bit special, an Italian charcuterie board can be ordered with a hand shaken cocktail, glass of wine or prosecco.
Terra provides the perfect environment for a catch up with friends, family brunch or business meeting. Fed up with working from home? Terra has free wi-fi and can keep you running with coffee and cake. Terra can be found within Sandersons Boutique at Five Valleys shopping centre and is open from 9:30 Monday to Saturday.
