The Kitsch Café & Wine Bar, a beloved establishment known for its community spirit and youth support, has entered a new chapter.
Under the new ownership of sisters Binny Gumber and Ash Kaur, the duo aim to enhance the café, which opened at the canal-side development near Ebley Mill in 2017 on the site of the former Mace convenience store.
Since taking over, the new owners have created more jobs, expanded operating hours, and launched a revamped menu featuring burgers, wraps, and freshly baked pizzas. To keep customers warm this winter, Kitsch has also introduced a seasonal line-up of specialty coffees and cocktails.

“Our vision is to create a space where the community feels welcome and our youth can thrive,” explained co-owner Binny.
“We’re committed to keeping Kitsch a place where people can connect, relax, and grow.”
Customers can now enjoy live DJs every Friday, quiz nights on the last Saturday of each month, and “Sunday Breakfast” on the first and third Sundays of each month.
