New Stonehouse Town boss Adam Coyle is hoping the feel-good factor will help give the Magpies wings when they start the new Hellenic League Division One West season at home to Alcester on Saturday, 3pm.
Coyle arrives at the Ben’s Takeaway Stadium following a managerial spell at Slimbridge. Succeeding Ian Soule in the role, Coyle has built a strong backroom staff which includes former Dursley Town boss Karl Nash and ex- Shortwood United, Ledbury and Swindon Supermarine coach Matt Tunley.
Coyle said: “Firstly, I want to thank the committee and everyone behind the scenes for their incredible work over the summer. Pre-season is never easy, and the effort put in to get us ready for the new campaign has been outstanding.

“We’re looking forward to Saturday’s game against Alcester. They’re a strong side and will provide a tough test for us straight out of the gate, but it’s a challenge we’re ready for.”
Making a raft of signings, Coyle has added Finlay Byrnes, Nathan Payne, Aaron Nash, Will Hawes, Dan Brabham, Dean Turner, Harvey Redding and Chalford duo Jonny Davis and Jamie Lock.
Coyle added: “The new signings have settled in really well and look like great additions to what was already a strong squad. There’s a good buzz around the group, and we’re excited to get going and build some early momentum for what we hope will be a successful season.”
