A Stroud restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The newly opened Stroud Hotel was given the maximum score after assessment today from the Food Standards Agency (FSA), carried out by Stroud District Council.
Creative Director at the hotel, Steph Burrows said: “Following a surprise inspection, the Stroud Hotel proudly received a five-star hygiene rating.
“The entire team is elated by this news, a testament to their unwavering dedication in upholding an exceptional standard. Hitting five stars really shows off the care and professionalism of every member of staff. We are all delighted.
“We’re incredibly grateful for all the support we have received since we opened in December so a huge thank you to everybody. Exciting times ahead as we prepare to open the hotel rooms very soon.”
