Forest Green’s regular park and ride service at Renishaw’s Woodchester site is not in operation this evening, the club have announced.

With a capacity crowd expected for tonight’s National League Play-off Semi-Final against Southend United, the club have urged fans to use the streets close to The New Lawn stadium as an alternative.

A club spokesperson said: “Our car parks are also full – supporters may use surrounding streets for parking, but we kindly ask that adhere to local traffic regulations.”

The club have also issued a warning to fans to stay off the pitch at the final whistle: “We’d like to remind supporters that the pitch is for players and the stands for spectators.

“It is against the law to enter the pitch at any time. Please remain in your seats or standing area.”
