A unique, hand-made guitar is being raffled to raise money for Friends of Rush Skatepark, the group campaigning to find a new home for the popular skatepark, formerly based at Brimscombe Port.
The instrument was built by Dexter Angel who runs Dex Audio, a musical equipment shop, based in Brimscombe which specialises in repairs and also builds custom solutions for musicians, often from scratch.
The guitar features a design – which spells out ‘Rush’ – by artist Leigh Charman whose work featured at the original Rush Skatepark. The back has been signed by supporters including Edith Bowman, Tom Smith of Editors, Andy Burrows of Razorlight, Katy J Pearson, Hugh Phillimore, Director of Stroud Sub Rooms, Dexter Angel, Si Coburn, Jerry and Michelle Norman, and Debbie Bird from Friends of Rush Skatepark.
Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased here: Friends of Rush Skatepark – Signed Unique Guitar (galabid.com)
