The Ancient Ram Inn in Wotton-under-Edge will once again throw open its doors to visitors tomorrow, Saturday September 16th.

The Ancient Ram Inn in Wotton-under-Edge was built in the 11th century and has gained a worldwide reputation as a hotspot for paranormal activity.

Owned by Caroline Humphries, it was bought by her late father, John Humphries, in 1968 to be run as a guesthouse. Shortly afterwards guests experienced unexplained activity.

“Dad suspected it was haunted and the guests confirmed it,” added Caroline. “Since then it has evolved into an event location for paranormal activity.”

The building has been featured on many TV shows and last Halloween ITV’s This Morning presenter Josie Gibson filmed at The Ram.

Tickets for the open day (11am-4pm) cost £10 (senior citizens and students £5) and can be booked on the website or on the day: Open Days | The Ancient Ram Inn

Disabled access is very limited, and Caroline advises visitors to wear sturdy footwear. Hot drinks and cakes will be available.
