Pancake racers set to flip their way through Dursley

Pancake racers will bring their frying pans to Dursley on Shrove Tuesday to take part in the town’s annual pancake race.

This quirky and much-loved tradition sees competitors racing down Parsonage Street while flipping pancakes as they run. Tossing begins at noon, promising plenty of fun and laughter for participants and spectators alike.

There’s no need to register in advance – simply turn up on the day with a frying pan and a pancake to join in the action.

The race is open to children aged five and over, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
