Partial road closures are in place on the A430 in Gloucester following a serious collision yesterday evening (Saturday 20 July).
Emergency services were called at around 10.50pm with a report of a collision involving a grey Peugeot 2008 and an e-scooter at the junction of Black Dog Way and London Road.
A man in his 20s, who was riding the scooter, has been taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to be treated for suspected serious injuries.
Closures have been put in place between Gouda Way at the junction with Kingsholm Road and the London Road junction of Black Dog Way while emergency services remain at the scene.
The road is expected to be closed for some time and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
