Paul Cooper on the ‘This Country’ weekend and stars playing in charity football match

This Country weekend is coming up this Saturday and Sunday, 22-23 June. Paul Cooper, who played Martin Mucklowe, tells Faye Hatcher about what’s in store.

On Saturday there will be tours of This Country filming locations in Northleach, tours running at 11am and 1pm, and on Sunday there will be a charity football match.

Paul is a co-founder and director of the Children’s Football Alliance charity, a coalition of agencies and organisations that safeguard and advance the rights of children in football.

To raise funds for the charity, Paul will stage a This Country All Stars v Cirencester Town Vets at Cirencester FC, this Sunday, 2pm. The This Country team will feature Paul and Charlie Cooper and Matt Baynton, star of Ghosts and Horrible Histories.
